Chronic and Recurring Infections may be characterized as any infection that keeps coming back and lasts a long time. Some of the common recurrent infections include bronchitis, sinusitis or skin infections. Proper treatment and evaluation is critical in these situations. Often there is an underlying condition or immune deficiency that contributes to the recurrence of infection or the inability to properly treat the infection.
